What is Butter Mochi? 

Butter Mochi is a Hawaiian dessert made of glutinous rice flour and coconut milk. Some say it's similar to the Filipino dessert, Bibingka. Because it is made with glutinous rice flour, it will have a soft, dense, custardy and chewy texture...unlike a regular cake or cupcake.

 

What is the difference between pan pieces and Infinity Edge pieces?

For pan pieces, the Butter Mochi will be cooked in a rectangular pan and cut into individual pieces. Because of this, edge pieces will not be guaranteed. If you are more of a fan of the chewiness of Butter Mochi, pan pieces are the way to go. If you love the crispy edges of Butter Mochi and do not want to have to fight with anyone for the edge piece, then Infinity Edges are for you. The Butter Mochi will be cooked in a cupcake pan. This way, you will be able to enjoy the edges with every bite!

 

Is Butter Mochi gluten free? 

Yes! Because Butter Mochi is made with rice flour, it is gluten free.

 

How is Butter Mochi best served?

Butter Mochi is always better fresh out of then oven or at least the day after. It can be stored in or out of the fridge for 2-3 days and warmed up right before serving. Please note, the edges won't be as crispy the longer you wait to eat it. 

 

What is your most popular flavor?

The most popular flavor, and the best in my opinion, is the Original Butter Mochi flavor. Mango is a close second and kids love the Double Chocolate Chip flavor.

Please order at least a week in advance.

Do you deliver?

I can deliver to Union City, Fremont and Hayward with no minimum order for an added delivery fee of $5. Other than that, delivery is available for orders over $40 and only available on weekends. Additional fees will apply. Please feel free to contact me if delivery or pick-up needs to be arranged.
